![]() You aren't spending time in your room though so does it really matter?Įssentially, you aren't really getting a beachy vibe at either place (man made lagoon?) - its all about the private island and zero palapa wars like you get with rest of Aruba! Not an early riser? No problem, you can't get a palapa until first boat anyway. Rooms at the resort feature fresh decor and amenities such as LCD TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, coffee makers, and. The resort features eight restaurants and a private beach. Rooms didn't matter - ours was plenty large enough - balcony was just a lean over type but we had top floor island view that was great (just don't book the inside facing rooms as that is just weird!). The Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino places guests near Fort Zoutman and within a short drive of Queen Beatrix International Airport. Also much closer for your boat as it is right in the lobby vs walking the breakwater. We found the buffet at Captains Corner was awful (probably a hot outside thing), and it was much more suitable on Marina side with Aquarius (air conditioned) and one of the best steak houses on the island right there with LG Smith. Food options are also much better on that side. ![]() The infinity pool/Blue Bar was a way better hang out than the Ocean Suites pool.way more comfortable. I'd stick with Marina side personally without kids.
